The owner of this website is Travel Experience. Sofokli Venizelou 31, P.C. 71201, Heraklion-Crete, GREECE, Greek National Tourism organization number: 10 39 E 60 61 01027 01, VAT number 110103626. Invoices pertaining to such tours are issued by Travel Experience. Travelexperience.gr also offer tours from other, apart from Travel Experience, tour operators clearly denoting the name of the tour operator on every tour description and reservation vouchers.

 

Reserving your tour 
Travelexperience.gr is acting only in the capacity of an Agent for the supplier in the sale of Excursion / Activity Tours. When making an Excursion or Activity booking, you accept that you are entering into a contract directly between the supplier of the excursion/activity and yourself.

Excursion/Activity tours are sold subject to the following Terms and Conditions:
 Confirmation of excursion / activity and issue of tickets.
 Confirmation of the Excursion / Activity booked will be by e-mail, within 48hours of booking after payment has been confirmed.

Reservation of the tours means that you have reserved the place(s) through our booking engine and you received by mail our final confirmation voucher along with payment instructions provided.

Our reservation system will not allow you to complete a payment through our secure server until you have a confirmation for your reservation. You will normally receive a confirmation and an Invoice within 24 hours.

 

Terms of reservations 
The reservation fee is fully refundable if you cancel within 72 hours of booking the tour. After 72 hours, cancellation fees apply (see “Refunds & cancellations” section). Reservations made fewer than 72 hours prior to the Final Payment Due Date (see “Making payments” section) will be refundable up until the Final Payment Due Date for the tour. Prior to the Final Payment Due Date, you may change your reservation to a new tour for a rebooking fee of 5€ (which must be collected at time of rebooking) plus any difference in tour price due to price increases, changes in travel season or tour. Terms & Conditions in place at the time of rebooking will apply to all changed reservations.

 

Making payments 
Your final payment is due according to the following schedule: 
Land tours 5 days prior to departure
Land & Sea tours 7 days prior to departure

Note: In some occasions payment may be accept upon departure or in our local office in Heraklion or in your Hotel stay provided you have confirmation from our Agent.

Travel Experience reserves the right to cancel a reservation if payment is not received on time, in which case cancellation fees will apply. Travel Experience will mail final travel documents only after your account has been paid in full and your completed confirmation statement has been received. All payments are due in Euros.

 

Forms of Payment
Travel Experience accepts the following forms of payments through Travelexperience.gr
Credit Card Payment through our secure server
Paypal (pay with your paypal account or with your credit card)
Bank Transfer (For tours commencing at least after 7 days)
Cash (see”Terms of reservations”)

 

Pricing 
Prices are per person. For the most up-to-date pricing please see our website. All prices are in Euros.

 

Travel Agents
Travel agents may receive benefit from selling our tours. If you wish to open a Travel Agents account please contact our team.

 

Reservations after final payment date 
Late Additions are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and may be subject to additional costs from our suppliers. Your payment must be made in full by credit card at the time of reservation. Late Additions are subject to standard cancellation fees (see “Refunds & cancellations”) applicable at the time of reservation.


Refunds & cancellations 
If you cancel your reservation, the cancellation fee schedule below will apply. Upon notifying Travel Experience of your cancellation, you will be given a confirmation number that verifies your cancellation. In the event you have to cancel your tour on the day of departure, you must notify Travel Experience prior to the departure of your first tour. Substitution of travelers is not permitted. If you do not show up for your trip, if you cancel your trip after the departure date or if you leave before the scheduled completion of a trip, you will not be eligible for any refund from Travel Experience for any unused portion of your trip or reimbursement for any additional costs incurred by leaving your trip early.

Health and capabilities 
The paces of Travelexperience.gr tours vary, but in general require that participants be in good physical and mental health. While Travelexperience.gr encourages participation of disabled passengers on our tours, some itineraries and sites are not accessible by wheelchair or motorized scooter. Before reserving your tour, please consult us of any physical disabilities and limitations so we can help you determine the appropriateness of the itinerary you select. If such limitations cause you to require additional assistance, Travelexperience.gr asks that you plan to travel with a companion who can provide assistance.

 

Group travel requirements 
Travel Experience reserves the right, up to final payment date, to reschedule or cancel any tour that has an insufficient number of travelers. If an insufficient number of travelers registers for your tour (not applicable to Private or Customized tours), Travel Experience will offer you a choice: choose another tour and/or departure date with a sufficient number of travelers, or cancel your tour without penalty. Travel Experience reserves the right to cancel a tour extension for low enrollment. If Travel Experience is forced to cancel a tour extension and a traveler subsequently chooses to cancel from the tour, standard cancellation fees will apply.

 

Itinerary variations and holidays
If improvements can be made to tour itineraries or unforeseen circumstances necessitate changes, Travel Experience reserves the right to amend, adjust or alter itineraries. Travel Experience cannot control program changes on Land & Sea tours as cruise lines companies reserve the right to make changes. Travel Experience will make every effort to notify you as early as possible of such changes. Due to local or national holidays, seasonal hours of operation or availability, special events and/or peak harvest seasons, access to certain facilities and attractions including but not limited to vineyards, museums, historical sites or stores may be limited. On such occasions, and whenever possible, itinerary adjustments will be made by Travel Experience to minimize traveler inconvenience. If, however, your enjoyment might be diminished by such limitations, please check with the respective national tourist office(s) before selecting a tour and travel date.

 

Legal responsibilities

In the event of any claim, dispute or proceeding arising out of this Agreement, or any claim which in contract, tort or otherwise at law or in equity arises between the parties, whether or not related to this Agreement, the parties submit and consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts of Heraklion City Greece.
